The original printing resulted in 1000 first-edition hard-cover books. Selling for up to five times the suggested retail price, Greendale instantly became a collector's item, and can now only be found in private collections around the world. The tremendous demand for Greendale's limited first edition printing inspired artist James Mazzeo to create a very exclusive & extremely rare series: a book representing each state of the Union, plus the District of Columbia, which will be donated to the Smithsonian.
